What a late post! I almost forgot to post about this week's run! We went back to the 35 and Riverside entrance and this time actually used the correct pedestrian bridge. We got to see ducks and other birds under the bridge before going up top where these pictures were taken. We then crossed the river and headed to the trail that is over the water. I figured out this last time, that like i had written about before the east side of town lake is so different from the west. First off, it is way less busy and more accessible. I enjoy that it is less busy, not as hectic to find parking and get Ari out. Speaking of Ari, it was cold out so I bundled her up in a CUTE grey striped fleece footie that we got for her birthday. It had the cutest bear hood on it and she got a ton of smiles from other runners. It warmed up quick though and I think she got uncomfortable because despite being fully fed, dry and cozy she wanted me to hold her about half way to Congress Ave. Needless to say with it being cold, I scooped her up and we started our trip back to the car. I managed to get her back in the stroller at the ped bridge across the river - I was able to distract her with my water bottle again! We made it back to the car and wandered around the park, petting trees and picking off leaves.
